Meteorologists predict moderate weather in Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai and along the Red Sea mountains on Thursday, with light rainfall expected across most of Egypt, save southern Upper Egypt.
Moderately hot weather is predicted for northern Upper Egypt, while very hot temperatures are expected for southern of Upper Egypt.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 26C in Cairo, 23C in Alexandria, 35C in Qena, 37C in Aswan, and 36C in Luxor.
Mild temperatures are also anticipated along both the northwestern and northeastern coasts and in central Sinai during the daytime, but very cold weather is expected across the country by nightfall.
Winds will be moderate across most of the country and active along the northwestern coasts.
Winds in Cairo and northern Upper Egypt are expected to shift sands and dust, possibly impacting visibility.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and two meters in height with southwestern to northwestern surface winds on the Mediterranean Sea and southeastern surface winds on the Red Sea.
