Manar Ghanem, a member of the Meteorological Authority’s Media Center, revealed in a televised statement that the expected weather conditions for Friday and Saturday.
She explained that most governorates will experience a significant stabilization in weather conditions due to the influence of an upper-level air extension, leading to increased periods of sunshine and no clouds affecting rainfall.
She indicated that the weather will be slightly cold during the day in the northern governorates and warm in the southern governorates.
With the absence of sunlight, there will be noticeable drops in temperatures, warning of severe cold winter weather, especially late at night and early morning.
She warned of the country being affected tomorrow by some desert air masses, leading to a temperature increase of about two degrees Celsius, with a maximum temperature in Cairo of 22 degrees Celsius.
Ghanem clarified that Egypt is expected to experience unstable weather conditions over the coming Sunday and Monday, with varying levels of rainfall in the northern governorates.
The Meteorological Authority has warned of weather fluctuations starting from next Sunday, January 5th.
Weather maps indicate light to moderate rainfall in scattered areas of the northern coasts and the northern Delta region, accompanied by active winds in most areas.
