Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly announced that he ordered Minister of Aviation Sameh al-Hanfy to privatize the management of all airports in Egypt.
During a meeting with a group of investors, he said that global changes represent a challenge to long-term planning.
The Prime Minister indicated that he looks forward to hearing the visions of national investors regarding short-term plans, noting that he actively seeks input from all groups.
Madbouly added that the government supports the private sector and will exit from a number of projects as part of the state ownership policy document.
He concluded by confirming that a plan to refund export burdens has been approved and will be announced in detail next week, to be paid over a period of two to three years.
