Meteorologists predict moderately hot and humid weather on Sunday during the daytime in Cairo and Lower Egypt, with moderate temperatures on the northern coasts, hot weather in northern Upper Egypt, and very hot weather in southern Upper Egypt.
Nightfall is expected to bring moderate weather across the country, with milder temperatures on the northern coasts.
Mist is expected during the morning hours in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the northern coasts.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 29C in Alexandria, 36C in Cairo, 40C in Qena and Luxor, and 41C in Aswan.
Maximum and minimum humidity levels are: 45-86 on the northern coasts, 40-85 in Cairo and Lower Egypt, 25-65 in northern Upper Egypt, and 18-35 in southern Upper Egypt.
Winds will be moderate across most of the country, active in north and south Upper Egypt and in South Sinai, blowing up sand and dust in some areas and disrupting maritime navigation.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and two meters in height. Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to rough, ranging between two and 2.5 meters in height.
Surface winds will be northwesterly over both seas.
The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) said that the country is currently being affected by the Indian summer monsoon, which makes the country’s weather hotter and more humid.
