The Transport Ministry is working to simplify and accelerate procedures to maximize yacht tourism in Egypt, by creating an online platform for foreign yachts, managed, operated and supervised by the ministry.
Yacht owners can enter the details of the yacht and passengers on the website, upload the required documents, the arrival date, the port to dock in, and the entire trip program – as is done in the leading countries in the field.
The site automatically sends data to the concerned authorities to review the required information, documents and interviews.
The authorities send their approvals to the website in the maritime transport sector to issue one approval for the visit program within 30 minutes, and issue one invoice for the foreign yacht that is collected electronically through the window in US dollars.
