Egypt will witness a slight increase in temperatures and humidity levels starting Friday and lasting into the beginning of next week is expected.
The Egyptian Meteorological Authority announced that temperatures in some parts of the country will rise to 45C on Sunday and Monday and 44C on Saturday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Active winds and morning mist will last through Wednesday.
On Friday, South Sinai, Saint Catherine, Halayeb, and Shalateen could witness intermittent rain and thunderstorms.
The highest temperature in Egypt on Friday is expected to be 43C in Aswan, while the lowest will be 30C in Matrouh.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate, ranging between one and 2.25 meters in height, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to turbulent, ranging between two and three meters in height with northwestern surface winds in both seas.
Temperatures will decrease by 1-2C after Monday.
