The Egyptian government will not accept conditional loans under any circumstances, said Egyptian Prime Minister Essam Sharaf on Tuesday.
In a press statement during his visit to Manama, Bahrain, Sharaf said the Egyptian economy will recover during the transitional period, through which the country is now passing in the wake of 25 January uprising.
Sharaf noted that according to international economic authorities and institutions, the future of Egypt’s economy is promising. He went on to say that the security situation in Egypt has significantly improved as compared to the situation during the early days of the revolution.
