The Chairman of the EgyptAir Holding Company, Ahmed Adel, announced a deal to purchase 34 new aircraft – including A350-900 and B737 MAX models – in addition to the refurbishment of several existing aircraft.
Speaking on the sidelines of his participation in the World Travel Market in London 2025, Adel explained that this deal is part of the company’s fleet modernization plan, which aims to improve operational efficiency and enhance the passenger experience.
He affirmed that the company continues to implement its ambitious growth and modernization plans to keep pace with developments in the global air transport industry and strengthen the position of the Egyptian national carrier as a strong competitor in regional and international markets.
Adel noted the company’s focus on expanding its network to include new destinations in North America, such as Los Angeles and Chicago, as well as increasing flight frequencies to high-yield markets.
The company is continuously investing in developing its in-flight services and premium lounges at the Cairo Airport, alongside implementing the latest technologies such as AI and digital transformation, with the aim of providing a more comfortable and seamless travel experience for customers.
