EgyptAir has suspended flights to and from Jordan, Iraq and Lebanon due to escalating conflict in the region until further notice, according to a statement on Sunday.
Iraq announced on Saturday the closure of its airspace and the cessation of navigation traffic.
The Jordanian Civil Aviation Regulatory Authority also announced, on Saturday, the temporary closure of Jordan’s airspace to all incoming, departing and transiting aircraft, “in light of the escalation of surrounding risks in the region.”
