Malaysian rescue services this Thursday increased their efforts to find an Egyptian citizen who went missing last Monday after apparently falling from a hotel window into the sea, according to the Malaysian Agency for Rescues and Marine Patrols.
Egyptian citizen is Yehya Yousri Mohamed al-Sayed, aged 27, he is believed to have fallen into the sea from the window of his hotel room in Langkawi, where he resides.
In a report broadcast on Bernama, the Malaysian national news agency, the rescue agency said that helicopters have been added to the search effort. Helicopters are searching within a 10km radius from where the incident occurred.
The agency also said that rescue divers are trying to locate Egytian man's body in the waters near where he is believed to have fallen. The diving team includes personnel from the Royal Malaysian Navy.
