The Egyptian Consulate in Dubai and the Northern Emirates promoted the economic summit, scheduled to be held next March, by inviting 500 companies to participate in the summit, said the Egyptian Consul General in Dubai and the Northern Emirates Sherief al-Bedaiwy.
Bedaiwy told Al-Masry Al-Youm during his tour of at the Arab Health Exhibition in Dubai, where 30 Egyptian companies participated: "The Commercial Office had contacted about 500 companies and invited them to the economic summit."
He pointed out that the meeting between President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and investors, on the sidelines of the energy summit in Abu Dhabi, contributed to answering many questions and reassured investors about the investment climate in Egypt.
In a different context, Bedaiwy stressed the consulate was ready for the parliamentary elections, pointing to the keenness of the Egyptian community in the UAE to participate in the elections.
