
The spokesperson for the Egyptian Health Ministry, Hossam Abdel-Ghaffar has refuted rumors of a cholera outbreak in Egypt.
In a phone interview with Al-Hadath Al-Youm channel, on Tuesday evening, Abdel-Ghaffar explained that multiple viruses are spreading this time of year, which are respiratory and include influenza, the syncytial virus, and coronavirus.
Abdel-Ghaffar added that among these viruses is also the “adenovirus”, which causes digestive issues.
He assured that these diseases are no different from last year.
