Egyptian police accuse protesters of killing two citizens in Suez

Egyptian police charged two demonstrators in Suez, northeast of Cairo, of killing two other demonstrators participating in the “Day of Anger” demonstrations.

Security sources said the police proved the charged men possessed two locally produced shot guns. They were referred to the prosecution, which is also investigating the killing of another demonstrator who died on Wednesday morning.

According to the prosecution, 20 demonstrators were arrested. They were charged with staging marches without permission, chanting slogans against the regime, disrupting traffic, destroying public property and wounding 27 police officers.
