The Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek el-Mulla, held talks, on Tuesday, with the Qatari Minister of Energy, Saad bin Sherida Al-Kaabi.
This was also with his accompanying delegation, on the sidelines of the ministerial meeting of the Forum of Natural Gas Exporting Countries, whose activities are being held in Cairo.
The two sides discussed joint cooperation projects and Egyptian-Qatari investments in the field of oil and gas.
The meeting reviewed the current situation of the projects in which the Qatari side participates in Egypt, whether in the field of gas and oil exploration and exploration in the Red and Mediterranean seas, or in the field of oil refining.
The two ministers stressed the importance of continuing coordination and constructive cooperation between the two sides to develop aspects of cooperation and partnership and push them towards broader horizons in light of brotherly relations and promising opportunities.
The meeting also witnessed a discussion of coordination and cooperation between the two countries within the framework of the Natural Gas Exporting Countries Forum.
