An Egyptian worker was shot dead by unknown assailants in the Libyan city of Benghazi, with no one claiming responsibility for the act.
On Monday morning, the Benghazi Medical Center received the body of 30-year-old Khalifa Syed Hamid.
The city and other areas of Libya have seen armed fighting between militias and brigades loyal to renegade general Khalifa Haftar, who has unilaterally announced military operations against armed groups that became stronger after the ouster of dictator Muammar Gaddafi in 2011.
