Egypt’s gold prices fluctuated on Monday, ending with a slight increase in line with the global rise of gold prices.
A gram of 24-karat gold reached LE915, while a gram of 21-karat gold hit LE800, and 18-karat gold ended at LE686.5.
The price a pound of gold reached LE6,398.
Gold prices also rose on the global stock exchanges Monday, reaching US$1,816.80 per ounce after closing last Friday at US$1814.
