Egypt is experiencing weather changes in recent days as winter is yet to begin, said the director of the Remote Sensing Center at the Egyptian Meteorological Authority Eman Shaker during a TV interview.
She explained that winter is due to officially start next week on December 23.
In a phone call on Monday with the Sabah al-Balad program, Shaker added that wind speeds will abate on Monday and rains will be limited to the north coast and North Sinai.
She anticipated no rain in the near future for Cairo specifically.
