Eight Brotherhood members arrested in Mansoura over involvement in violence

Mansoura security services arrested eight members of the Muslim Brotherhood in Awish al-Hagar village over involvement in rioting and inciting violence.

Police raided 16 houses of Brotherhood members in the village. Only eight suspects were found inside their houses. Security sources said all the arrests had been ordered by the prosecution.

The Muslim Brotherhood was branded a terrorist group late 2013. It denies responsibility for post-Morsy attacks. Hundreds of the group's leaders and loyalists are standing trial over multiple charges.
