Eni wins two oil exploration concessions in Egypt

The Italian Eni company has announced in a statement that it won two concessions to explore oil on the Egyptian Mediterranean coast.
 
Eni was given 37.5 percent of the concessions, BP was also given 37.5 percent and Total was given 25 percent.
 
Eni discovered a massive natural gas field off the coast of Egypt, considered one of the largest in the world.
 
The company has been operating in Egypt since 1954. It produces 190,000 barrels of oil per day.
