Faculty of Law dean: Brotherhood students kill protesting colleagues

Dean of Cairo University's Faculty of Law Mahmoud Kebaish called for the return of police to campuses to protect university buildings.

He argued that the police's role is basically to protect facilities and they do not need the approval of the administration for that.

"Muslim Brotherhood students kill people who participate with them in protests and accuse the police of killing them," Kebaish claimed.

"This prevents the police from entering on campus for fear of being implicated in such incidents," Kebaish continued.

A police officer was killed and five others were injured in three blasts at Cairo University Wednesday.

A group called Soldiers of Egypt claimed responsibility for the blasts.
