A father in a Beni Suef village has killed his daughter by hanging after she allegedly left her husband for another man, according to security officials.
The 27-year-old victim, from the village of village of Monsha'at al-Hag, was hanged by her father and son, both of whom have now been arrested.
According to police investigators, the father and the son committed the crime after the woman ran away to Cairo with someone else, abandoning her husband.
Major General Khalaf Hussein, head of criminal investigations in the area, is overseeing the investigation.
The body of the deceased was taken to Ehnasia Central Hospital.
