Fayoum security forces protest lack of vacation

A number of security forces massed outside one of the training centers in Fayoum city, protesting their lack of vacation over the past three months and accusing one of the supervising officers of abusive treatment, according to state-run newspaper Al-Ahram.

The troops  set fire to the trees surrounding the al-Ezab training center and demanded the dismissal of the director of the center, calling on the security director to resolve their troubles, news website Welad El balad reported.

After two hours, al-Fayoum security director al-Shafey Hassan along with other security personnel besieged the protest and negotiated with the protesting personnel to reach a compromise.

While, in the same month around 110 personnel of the central security of Belbais went on strike demonstrating against the transfer of one of their colleagues to Kaliobya governorate.
