Filming for romantic drama ‘Hepta: The Last Debate’ begins

The producers of “Hepta: The Last Debate” have announced that filming has commenced for the highly anticipated sequel to “Hepta: The Last Lecture” set in the heart of vibrant Cairo.

“Hepta: The Last Debate” is a romantic drama written by Mohamed Sadek, screenplay by Mohamed Galal and Mohamed Sadek in collaboration with Nourhan Abou-Bakr, and directed by Hadi al-Bagoury.

The film features the likes of Menna Shalaby, Karim Fahmy, Salma Abu-Deif, Asmaa Galal, Karim Kassem, Mayan el-Sayed, and Hassan Malek, in addition to other names that will be announced soon.

It explores the ups and downs of a romantic relationship and reveals deep insights into how it affects our lives, as well as discussing the nature of relationships and their unexpected developments.

“We are passionate about producing authentic, impactful stories of the highest quality, and Hepta: The Last Debate is more than just a film; it is a journey to explore the essence of human connection,” said the Vice President of Film Production at VOX Studios Darine al-Khatib.

“We are delighted to partner with The Producers on this film, which reinforces our commitment to enriching Arab cinema with vibrant and sustainable works,” she added.

The founder of The Producers, Hany Osama, said: “We are excited to begin filming the long-awaited film, Hepta: The Last Debate.”

“This new chapter will reveal a new perspective on love that reflects reality and introduces contemporary elements to enrich the story, while maintaining the charm and essence of the original Hepta,” Osama added.

Filming is currently underway in Cairo and will be shot in various locations across Egypt.
