Foreign Minister Sameh Shokry is flying to Rabat within hours to meet with his counterpart and discuss bilateral relations, said diplomatic sources.
This is the first visit of a high-level Egyptian official since the tension in relations between the two countries following Moroccan state television reports describing the 30 June revolution as a military coup.
