Former Ahly star wins top scorer title in the French Handball League

Egyptian international handball star Marwa Eid Abdelmalek, the player of Nice club, won the title of top scorer in the French League for this season 2021/2022.

The Egyptian star managed to score 143 goals in 22 matches with her French team.

Abdelmalek said on her official Facebook page: “Thank God, I won the top scorer in the French League, 143 goals in 22 matches out of 26. ”

In January, the French club Nice, announced the renewal of the player’s contract for three years.

Abdelmalek is the first Egyptian handball player, and she first started playing football at the age of five at Zeinhom Youth Center.

She played football with Wadi Degla club and the Egyptian national team, and was the league’s top scorer for three years.

Before playing handball she was also prolific at football.

She moved to Al-Ahly handball team in 1996.

Abdelmalek played for Al-Ahly Club for 14 years, and only lost two or three matches during her time with Ahly.
