Public Prosecutor Hesham Barakat has ordered that a former policeman be remanded into custody for four days pending investigations over charges of killing his father and stepmother and injuring his siblings.
Investigations showed that disputes within the family occurred between the former officer and the rest of the family members, leading to him shooting them and escaping.
Kafr al-Sheikh security services arrested the former police captain. When faced with the charges, he confessed.
