Egypt's state buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC), received one offer at its white sugar tender on Saturday, trade sources said.
The offer was from ED&F at $580 a tonne for 25,000 tonnes of white sugar.
GASC announced the tender on Dec. 7, seeking 25,000 tonnes of white sugar for shipment until mid-January.
The low turnout could force GASC to cancel the tender. Results are expected later on Saturday.
