The gold pound rose insanely high at the beginning of trading, on Friday, October 28, 2022, up by LE1,500 from Thursday, after the flotation of the Egyptian pound.
The Central Bank of Egypt issued a statement, on Thursday morning, floating the Egyptian pound price and raising interest rates.
