Gold prices in Egypt on Sunday have remained stable, keeping the costs it reached on Saturday morning as a result of the suspension of global trading due to global stock exchange holidays.
The cost of 21-karat gold, the most widespread in Egypt recorded LE812.2 at the beginning of Sunday while recording LE811.87 at the end of Friday’s trading and LE801.10 at the beginning of Thursday’s trading.
Before the stock market closed for the weekend, the ounce of gold recorded US$1,843, compared to the end of Friday’s trading and the beginning of Thursday’s trading where the ounce recorded $1,842.71 and $1,815 respectively.
