The Egyptian labor force in 2010 reached 25.3 million, of whom 23.4 percent were women, says a report issued on Tuesday by the cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC).
The report added that the ration of the labor force to the total population was 30.5 percent, and that there were 118 industrial zones and 30,047 industrial companies in the country.
It also said there were 3504 bank branches and 369 insurance companies.
