The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) forecasts a continued gradual rise in temperatures across most of the country on Sunday.
Mild weather is expected at night and in the early morning throughout the country, becoming slightly hot during the day along the northern coast, hot in Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt, and very hot in southern Egypt.
Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt are expected to reach a high of 34C and a low of 21C, while the northern coast will see highs of 27C and lows of 18C.
In northern Upper Egypt, temperatures will reach from 22C to 39C, with southern Upper Egypt seeing the highest temperatures with 39C at the most and lows of 25C.
The EMA predicted a slight chance of light rain in parts of the northwestern coast and northern Lower Egypt at intervals, with wind activity across most of the country reaching speeds of 30-40 kilometers per hour.
Satellite imagery indicated the possibility of some low clouds appearing over scattered areas of southern Lower Egypt, Greater Cairo, and the Suez Canal cities, potentially accompanied by light, insignificant drizzle in some areas.
The EMA urged citizens to continuously monitor weather forecasts and take the necessary precautions, especially while driving in the early morning hours due to fog.
