The Cairo Criminal Court sentenced a young man to one year in prison with hard labor. They have also made him pay criminal fees over charges of placing his hand on the waist of a girl while she was walking on the public road in Nasr City, Cairo.
On November 12, 2022, the defendant assaulted a girl while she was walking on the public road, by placing his hand in on her waist area.
When she screamed out for help from passers-by, the accused became more aggressive and assaulted her causing her further injury physically and emotionally.
