The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) anticipates the weather on Monday to be moderately hot during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt, warm on the northern coasts, and hot on southern Upper Egypt.
A heatwave is expected throughout the week until Saturday, the EMA explained.
Meteorologists also warned of decreased visibility on agricultural and highway roads and near water bodies due to the formation of mist.
They advised car drivers to stop driving in the event of zero visibility, turn on the fog lights, increase the safety distances between each car, use windshield wipers, open the car windows slightly to prevent water vapor from condensing inside the car, and use the horn at intervals.
