Meteorologists expect hot weather to continue easing on Saturday, to be mild on northern coasts, slightly hot on Lower Egypt, Cairo, and northern Upper Egypt, while very hot to the south, and mild at night across all parts.
The wave of hot weather that started last Monday is easing today and tomorrow. The temperature on Thursday reached 42 C.
Maximum temperatures predicted for Saturday are in Cairo: 35 C, in Alexandria: 29 C, in Qena: 41 C, in Luxor: 42 C and in Aswan: 43 C.
Low and medium level clouds will appear in the northern parts. Wind will be mostly northwesterly and moderate in strength and mostly active in southern parts, South Sinai, Gulf of Suez, and the Red Sea hampering maritime navigation.
Surface winds in the Mediterranean and Red Sea will be northwesterly. Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate and range between 1.5 to 2 meters high; while waves will be rough in the Red Sea, with 2 to 2.5 meters height predicted.
