Heatwave continues on Wednesday, temperatures in Cairo reach 41C

 

Meteorologists expect the current heatwave across Egypt will continue on Wednesday. Milder temperatures are expected along the north coast, and temperatures will peak in Aswan and the New Valley at 47C in the daylight hours, while lowering by night.

Mist will affect visibility in the morning in Lower Egypt, and along the north coast. Low and medium-level clouds are anticipated on Wednesday along the north coast.

Winds are expected to be northwestern and moderate in strength. It will be active in northern Upper Egypt and the Gulf of Suez, possibly disrupting maritime navigation there.

Waves in the Mediterranean and Red Sea will be low to moderate and range between 1 to 2 meters in height, with northwesterly surface winds.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are as follows; 41C in Cairo and 33C in Alexandria, 42C in Hurghada, 46C in Qena, 46C in Luxor, and 47C in Aswan.
