The Israeli Army Radio reported Wednesday evening that Hezbollah launched a massive, single-wave barrage of approximately 100 rockets targeting multiple areas across Northern Israel.
Israeli media outlets confirmed a direct hit on a building in the north, while the Israel Defense Forces stated that air defense systems were activated across the targeted sectors to intercept incoming projectiles.
According to Israel’s Channel 12, the launches originated from several locations within Lebanon.
Reports indicated that a fire broke out in a building near Karmiel due to falling rocket shrapnel, with other northern sites reporting similar debris impacts.
Shortly after the Hezbollah barrage, additional sirens sounded across the north following a secondary wave of missile launches originating directly from Iran.
The Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation quoted a military source confirming that Hezbollah’s “tens of rockets” were part of a coordinated response to the ongoing regional escalation.
As of Wednesday, March 11, the conflict entered a critical new phase following the joint US-Israeli offensive on Iranian soil.
That operation resulted in the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and several high-ranking Iranian officials, along with hundreds of military and civilian casualties.
Tehran swiftly retaliated against the offensive by targeting American interests across the Middle East and executing wide-scale strikes on Israel.
This latest 100-rocket salvo from Hezbollah—Iran’s primary regional proxy—suggests a synchronized effort to overwhelm Israeli air defenses by forcing them to engage low-altitude rocket fire from Lebanon and high-altitude ballistic threats from Iran simultaneously.
