Meteorologists expect hot and humid weather in Cairo and Lower Egypt up until northern Upper Egypt on Wednesday, with very hot temperatures in Upper Egypt during the daytime and moderate weather along the northern coasts.
The weather will grow milder at night across the country.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 32C in Alexandria, 37C in Cairo and 41C in Qena, Luxor, and Aswan.
Mist will impact visibility in the morning in the northern parts of the country, with low-level clouds anticipated.
Winds will be mostly northwestern and moderate, active on different parts in South Sinai and Upper Egypt, blowing up sand and dust on some parts. They will also be active on the Gulf of Suez and the Red Sea, disrupting maritime navigation there.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be low to moderate and range between one to 1.5 meters in height, while waves in the Red Sea will be rough and range between 2.5 to three meters, with northwestern surface winds on both seas.
