The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) anticipates hot and humid weather to continue across most of Egypt on Tuesday.
The EMA warned against sitting in closed and poorly ventilated places, and recommended opening windows, wearing light cotton clothes, drinking plenty of water, and staying away from the sun – especially during peak hours.
Tuesday’s weather will be hot and humid during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the North Coast, and very hot in South Sinai and the southern parts of the country.
The weather at night will remain hot and humid for most of the country, while moderate and humid on the northern coasts.
Weather maps revealed intermittent wind activity across the nation, causing occasional sand and dust storms in areas of the far south of the country.
There are chances of light to moderate rainfall, sometimes thunderstorms, in areas of the far south of the country and the Red Sea mountain ranges.

- Cairo: 36C
- Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada: 40C
- Luxor: 44C
- Aswan: 45C
