The Egyptian Meteorological Authority warns that the weather for Friday and Saturday is expected to be hot and humid.
Humidity is expected to reach 80 percent during the night hours and 35 percent during the day.
Meteorologists explained that high humidity increases the heat by up to 3C.
Hot weather is expected to prevail over Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the northern coasts.
Very hot temperatures are expected in South Sinai and the south of the country.
Active winds are predicted in some areas of Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, and South Sinai, which eases the feeling of high levels of humidity at night.
Meteorologists advised citizens to stay away from the sun’s rays during peak hours, to wear cotton clothes and a head covering when going out onto the street, and to drink plenty of water and cold drinks.
