Meteorologists predict hot weather on Sunday across Egypt, with rainfalls in some areas of Lower and Upper Egypt.
Milder temperatures are expected along the north coast, with very hot temperatures at southern Upper Egypt in the daylight hours and cooling down by night.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are 30C in Alexandria, 32C in Cairo, 36C in Qena, 37C in Luxor, and 38C in Aswan.
Mist will affect visibility across Egypt’s northern parts in the morning. Low-level clouds are expected in most parts of the country, accompanied by rainfall in parts of Lower Egypt and the cities of Halayeb and Shalateen.
Winds are expected to be northwestern and moderate. They will be active on northern parts, blowing up sand and dust in the western parts of the country and northern Upper Egypt.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate and range between 1.5 to 2 meters in height, while waves in the Red Sea will be low to moderate and range between 1 to 1.5 meters in height.
Surface winds are northwestern for both seas.
