The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) announced in a Facebook statement that Thursday’s weather will be very hot and humid during the day in most parts of the country, hot and humid on the northern coast.
It will be mild to hot and humid at night across the country.
The Authority warned of active winds on the Mediterranean coasts (Port Said, Damietta, Daqahliya, Kafr al-Sheikh, Alexandria, Matrouh), with wind speeds reaching 40-30 km/h and wave heights of 1.5-2 meters.
Light fog is expected to form in the morning on a number of agricultural roads, highways, and near water bodies. Moderate winds will be active, with occasional gusts, in most parts of the country.
Chances of rain
Light to moderate rain, accompanied by thunderstorms, is expected in the areas of Halaib and Shalateen, Ras Banas, Abu Simbel, Aswan, and the New Valley.
There will be a continued possibility of light to moderate rain with thunderstorms and potential flash floods in some parts of South Sinai and the Southern Red Sea, accompanied by active winds causing sandstorms and dust storms on a number of roads.
