Egypt’s Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities has made booking tickets available online to visit archaeological sites and museums located in 17 governorates and cities across the country through the egymonuments website.
This include booking tickets to visit and enter archaeological sites and museums in the governorates and cities of: Cairo – Giza – Qena – Luxor – Esna – Edfu – Aswan – Sharm el-Sheikh – Alexandria – Ismailia – Minya – Beni Suef – Assiut – Sohag – Beheira – Kafr el-Sheikh – Sharkia.
The ministry explained how to book tickets to visit and enter archaeological sites and museums through the official booking website:
- Go to the website egymonuments
- Choose the governorate or city you want to book tickets in.
- Select the archaeological site or museum.
- Choose Book Now / Buy Tickets.
- Select a nationality (Egyptian – Arab – Foreign)
- Choose the number of tickets.
- Select the date of the visit.
- Choose to complete the purchase.
- Enter contact details (first name – last name – email – country – phone number).
- Confirm the reservation by paying through credit card.
- A message will be sent to the email confirming the reservation and attached to the electronic ticket.
