International Labor organization (ILO) Director-General Guy Ryder said there are 200 million unemployed people in the world, an increase of 30 million since the global financial crisis of 2008, of which 74 million are young people between 15 and 24 years of age.
He said the organization works with governments and civil societies to achieve sustainable growth, safe working environments and social justice, concentrating on small and medium-sized businesses.
He added that the organization also works on eliminating forced labor, which involves some 169 million children around the world.
