Iran launches 21st strike wave into the heart of Tel Aviv, Israel

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on Friday morning that it has launched a barrage of “Khyber” missiles at Tel Aviv. According to the Iranian Mehr News Agency, the assault is part of the 21st wave of Operation “True Promise 4.”

In an official statement, the IRGC confirmed it targeted “sensitive centers” in the heart of Tel Aviv using advanced Khyber-class missiles in successive waves. The command emphasized its “total readiness” for a sustained, long-term conflict, warning that even more advanced weaponry is prepared for deployment.

In response to the barrage, Magen David Adom (MDA) emergency services reported minor damage to several buildings in Tel Aviv and Givatayim. Despite the volume of fire, initial reports suggest that most projectiles were intercepted or fell in open areas, causing limited structural harm and no immediate reports of fatalities.

Tehran maintains that these strikes are a direct retaliation for the joint US-Israeli offensive launched in late February. That operation resulted in significant civilian casualties and the historic assassination of several top Iranian leaders, most notably the Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei.
