The government media office in the Gaza Strip announced that the number of people killed in Israel’s massacre of the Nuseirat camp on Saturday rose to 210, in addition to over 400 injured.
The Israeli occupation army assailed the Nuseirat camp in central Gaza during its operation to free four detainees held by Palestinian factions.
The operation and its costs
The Israeli Defense Ministry announced on Saturday that four hostages in the Gaza Strip were liberated “alive” after a military operation in the Nuseirat neighborhood.
Israel’s Defense Minister Yoav Gallant announced that the Israeli forces were able to free four hostages from Hamas captivity and return them.
“I followed from the command room the operation of liberating the kidnapped under heavy fire and the mission was carried out courageously,” he claimed.
Israeli media reported that a soldier was critically injured during the operation, while one hostage was injured.
An Israeli official said that the operation was approved on Thursday by the Prime Minister, the Defense Minister, and senior officials in the defense establishment.
The announcement by Israel comes eight months after the war.
