Israeli forces committed a new massacre in the Beit Lahia area, north of Gaza Strip, where they targeted multiple locations in the strip with intensive raids.
According to Palestinian media the bodies of 93 people, including 20 children, were recovered after an Israeli bombardment targeted a five-story house belonging to the Abu-Nasr family in Beit Lahia.
Eyewitnesses reported that dozens of wounded were still under the rubble of the destroyed building where about 100 displaced Palestinians were living, including women and children.
The Government Media Office in Gaza confirmed the death of 93 Palestinians and the loss of about 40 as a result of the Israeli bombing of the house, while more than 20 serious injuries arrived at Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia, while dozens are still under the rubble.
The hospital director, Hossam Abu-Safia, said that they are unable to treat dozens of wounded due to lack of capabilities, and urged for an end to the genocide.
Abu-Safia pointed out that the Israeli shelling around the hospital did not stop while the injured were being treated, and has been continuing for hours.
Tthe director of field hospitals in Gaza, Marwan al-Hams, called on all surgeons to return to Kamal Adwan Hospital to try to save the injured.
Further raids
Seven Palestinians, including a child, were also killed as a result of Israeli shelling that targeted the south of al-Nuseirat camp in central Gaza Strip.
The Al-Bureij camp was also subjected to artillery shelling that resulted in the death of two people, one of whom was a child.
In Rafah, southern Gaza Strip, three Palestinians were killed.
Local media reported that Israeli forces carried out raids on the eastern areas of Jabalia camp in northern Gaza Strip, and sources confirmed that Israel’s forces burned the al-Fakhoura School, which is affiliated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), and several houses in the vicinity of the school, west of the Jabalia camp.
Hamas announced that the horrific massacre committed by the Israeli occupation in Beit Lahia confirms Israel’s plans to continue its genocide, crimes of ethnic cleansing and displacement.
The movement indicated in its statement that “The Beit Lahia massacre would not have occurred without the official Arab impotence and international silence that encourages the war criminal Netanyahu to continue his heinous crimes.”
