A fresh wave of Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon killed nine people including two children today, according to Lebanese authorities and state media.
Another 23 people were wounded in multiple strikes on the area, Lebanon’s health ministry said.

Despite a declared ceasefire, Israel’s military chief Eyal Zamir told troops, Wednesday they would continue operating on the “front lines,” as Israel trades attacks with Hezbollah.
More than 2,500 people have been killed and over 7,900 injured since the war began, the Lebanese ministry of health said, with the toll continuing to rise despite a ceasefire being in place.
