Actor Johnny Depp will reportedly appear as the face of Dior’s Sauvage, a new version of the Eau Sauvage men’s fragrance, according to Women’s Wear Daily.
The advertisement, filmed by Jean-Baptiste Mondiano, shows Depp driving out of Los Angeles in a vintage Dodge Challenger. In his first fragrance advertisement, Depp says into the camera, “I gotta get out of here. Which way I don’t know… Dior.”
The film will also feature an original track from slide guitarist Ry Cooder.
The scent, due out on Sep 2, takes off from the original 1966 version but attempts to make it more modern, strong and masculine.
