July in Egypt sees 10 days of paid days off following June 30 Revolution day

The month of July sees 10 official days of vacation for employees in the public and private sectors, following the June 30 Revolution holiday.

This leave will be paid in accordance with official labor laws, and all employees in the government and private sectors will receive it.

 

Public holidays in July 2024

According to the official agenda on the Egyptian Presidency’s website for 2024, the days of official holidays and weekends that are paid for workers in July are as follows:

  • 1- Friday, July 5, (weekend).
  • 2 – Saturday, July 6, (weekend).
  • 3 – Sunday, July 7, (the Hijri New Year 1446 AH).
  • 4 – Friday, July 12, (weekend).
  • 5- Saturday, July 13, (weekend).
  • 6- Friday, July 19, (weekend).
  • 7-Saturday, July 20, (weekend).
  • 8- Thursday, July 25, (instead of Tuesday, July 23, the anniversary of the 1952 Revolution)
  • 9- Friday, July 26,  (weekend).
  • 10- Saturday, July 27, (weekend).
