A Kuwaiti police officer accused of possessing illegal recreational drugs has been released on bail by a Hughada prosecutor.
The suspect was released on Tuesday on a bail of LE5,000.
The Kuwaiti officer is suspected of possessing cannabis and various drugs in pill form.
He was arrested at Hurghada Airport while heading to Istanbul, Turkey.
The suspect confessed to possessing the drugs, was arrested and banned from travel.
